“Small Planet finished our solar install pretty quick from start to finish. Everything went smoothly. They handled all of the B.C. Hydro net metering applications and we were producing power in just a few days. A lot of people look at solar as a linear payback but it’s actually quite a bit more in depth than that. We chose to view it as an investment that increases the value of our home, (principle protected), and provides a 5% return, that isn’t taxed and goes up with the price B.C. Hydro charges.

The objective was to maximize the potential of the un-obstructed south facing roof while helping to lower monthly electricity costs. We assessed the roof and determined that we would install 24 solar modules on the southeast and southwest faces of the roof.
